Do your students struggle with what to do with the data once they get it graphed or actually developing their claims and reasoning statements from the data?

During the "Draw Conclusions & Make Inferences from Data" workshop in the Data Literacy Series, we explore tips and tricks for helping our students understand what they can and cannot say from their data as well as ways to help them draw conclusions and comprehend what the data are showing in relationship to their knowledge of other aspects of the topic area. We will work through common missteps that student make in their data analysis and how to adjust our questions of the students to better illicit their inferences and conclusions from the data.
