Polar-ICE Science Investigation (Sci-I) Project – We co-coordinate the Sci-I Project in which science teachers and students in grades 6-9 increase their skills in designing and conducting science investigations as well as analyzing and interpreting data, in alignment with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) requirements, through the lens of polar science. (2015-2019)

Polar-ICE Data Stories – We work to make polar science interesting and digestible to teachers and students in grades 6-9 by working with polar researchers to identify compelling stories that can be told through narrative interactive visualizations. (2016-2019)

OOI Data Labs – As part of this project, we will be sharing OOI educational data resources created by the community. (2018-2019)

OOI Teaching with Data – We work to co-develop online, interactive Data Explorations of Ocean Observatories Initiative data to augment Introductory Oceanography courses in college. (2015-2017)

Fisheries in R mini-course – We co-run a 4-week mini-course to learn how to code using RStudio for high school seniors. The students explore various ecological data for their final projects. (2015-2017)

Advancing Climate Literacy through Investment in In-service and Pre-service Science Educators (ACLIPSE) – We work with the team to develop and revise activities focused on various data skills and data literacy principles for pre-service science teachers. (2014-2017)

4-H STEM Ambassadors – We work with participating scientists to help translate their research into data-rich opportunities from high school students to engage with it and take it back to their communities. (2011-2017)
